Announcing the next Scottish AUG meetup!
Join us for the second official Atlassian User Group (AUG) meetup in Scotland!
Following the success of our the very first meetup last month, we are running the second event on 17 August. The meetup is for anybody that currently uses, or has a keen interest in Atlassian’s tool-set, whether it’s JIRA, Confluence or the entire application stack.
This month, we are excited to announce that Tempo will be doing a live webinar presentation about their hugely successful JIRA add-ons.
Where and when?
The first meetup will be on Wednesday 17 August from 7 to 9 PM.
Skyscanner has kindly allowed us to host the event at their Glasgow offices.
How do I sign up?
You can signup via meetup.com here.
The event is also advertised on Atlassian’s website here.
More about AUGs
More than 10,000 people take part in Atlassian User Groups (AUG). While there are already 2 in the UK in Cambridge and London, there are sadly none in Scotland.
An AUG is a forum for Atlassian users to share experiences and insights. A wide range of topics could be discussed from best practices, to tips and tricks, and implementing agile methodologies.
We are seeking an AUG leader!
An AUG must be led by the community. As we are Atlassian Expert partners, future events cannot be organized by New Verve Consulting staff.
AUG leaders are Atlassian customers and volunteer their time to create interesting, fun AUG events. They don’t need to be experts and can have experience with only a few of Atlassian’s products. You can also email Atlassian if you’re interested.
What do AUG leaders do?
AUG leaders schedule and plan events, ensure meetings run smoothly, and share back with the community.
You can seek ongoing sponsorship directly from Atlassian and New Verve Consulting (i.e. venue costs, food, drink etc.).
What are the perks?
As an AUG leader, you get lots of perks!
- Discount to the Atlassian summit
- Exclusive Atlassian swag (t-shirts, hoodies, and more!)
- Inside access and knowledge
